There is nothing wrong with foreclosure data.
In fact, it is necessary.
But it is only the first layer.
Think of it this way:
Foreclosure data tells you where to look.
Qualified foreclosure leads tell you who to call.
That is a very different value proposition.
An investor can spend hours sorting through records and still not know which homeowners are worth contacting first.
Meanwhile:
- auction dates are approaching
- other investors are marketing aggressively
- and the window to help the homeowner may be shrinking.
The opportunity is not just in knowing that a foreclosure exists.
The opportunity is in reaching the homeowner before the auction and having a real conversation about their remaining options.
